Soul Ascension

  • John 3:3 “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
  • Mark 16:16 “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

Although Saint Michaels Chapel is a Christian Ministry serving everyone, we specifically minister to those under attack by the minions of Satan.  Be it evil spirits; what modern society refers to as poltergeists, or other forms of spiritual attack, we are here to help.  Protestant ministers have consistently held that any born again Christian, who is indwelt by the Holy Spirit cannot be possessed.  However most will openly tell you or in private admit that even the most devout believer can come under attack or what we refer to as oppression.

One way to minimize the effects of oppression is to deepen your connection to God through Christ.  This process of spiritual renewal is often referred to as soul ascension, or basically put; a process of making your soul more acceptable to the eyes of God.  This does not mean purchasing a new wardrobe or going on a diet and physical fitness regimen thereby improving outwardly appearance, but rather improving your inner appearance, the body of your soul.  Prayer, study and contemplation on the Word of God and the many mysteries of the Bible are a starting point for those that have been born again or are just beginning the process of spiritual renewal.

Saint Michaels Chapel will be providing a series of essays on Soul Ascensiion, so check back often for the latest thoughts on this important subject.
